Four coal grades. Multiple origins. One reliable supplier. Full specifications for Pakistan's industrial requirements.
All imported grades supplied CFR Port Qasim, Karachi. Third-party quality inspection (SGS / Intertek) on every consignment.
Origin: Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT), South Africa
South African RB2 is the benchmark for thermal coal imports into Pakistan. Consistent GCV, low sulphur and ash content make it ideal for cement kilns, fertilizer plants, and large industrial boilers. Essa Energy sources RB2 through established Dubai and Singapore-based traders, with shipments arriving at Port Qasim (PIBT / FOTCO terminals).
| Parameter | Basis | Typical Value | Rejection / Max |

Indonesian coal offers competitive pricing and relatively shorter shipping lead times to Port Qasim compared to South African coal. Higher inherent moisture than South African grades, but the lower ash content and pricing make it attractive for cost-sensitive industrial applications.

Australian thermal coal represents the highest quality available in the market — very low sulphur, low ash, and high GCV. Suitable for sensitive industrial applications where coal quality directly impacts product quality, such as certain chemical processes and high-efficiency power generation.

For price-sensitive industrial applications, we also supply local coal from Balochistan and KPK mines — ideal for brick kilns, small steam boilers, and general heating requirements.
Origin: Balochistan (Sor Range, Degari) / KPK (Hangu, Orakzai)
Locally sourced coal offers significant cost advantages for applications where coal quality is less critical. We supply from established mining areas in Balochistan and KPK, with road/rail delivery to your facility.
| Parameter | Basis | Typical Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gross Calorific Value (GCV) | NAR | 3,500–5,000 kcal/kg | Grade/origin dependent |
